Certified Technician - Duties & Responsibilities

Overview/Big Picture:

Understand & follow federal, state, and local regulations about service repair work in Woodland Hills, CA
Follow service department safety guidelines and housekeeping policies/procedures
Attend Volkswagen training courses

Day-to-Day:

Receive repair orders and take them to the stall area
Perform work contained within the repair order following Winn Volkswagen of Woodland Hills service standards
Diagnose and repair vehicle malfunctions as authorized
Communicate with parts department to obtain necessary supplies
Tag & save parts if service is under warranty or if the customer requests as such
Advise service advisor immediately if additional work is required, if requested service is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within an established timeframe
Document all work performed
Road-test vehicles to ensure you’ve addressed the customer complaint
Quality check all work performed
