The 2021 Volkswagen VW ID.4 EV is first set to release in the first quarter of 2021 and released to dealerships across all 50 states of the USA, paired with an initial MSRP of $39,995 along with an expected $7,500 federal tax credit deduction due to its electric vehicle designation. We say initially because Volkswagen plans to eventually localize production in Chattanooga, Tennessee by 2022. First run ID.4s will be produced in Germany and once production starts at our Chattanooga facility we expect the MSRP down to an expected range of $35,000. Additionally, this change will also debut a planned, more powerful version of the ID.4 model, rated at 302 horsepower.
